Successful migration and knowledge transfer

2BIT supported the development team of Genossenschaft Migros Ostschweiz (GMOS) to seamlessly migrate their application from Angular JS to Angular and at the same time implement an integration with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD). This was not just about the technical conversion, but also about building expertise in the team to better understand Angular and be able to drive further development independently.

During the pair programming the developers from GMOS and the expert from 2BIT worked side by side. They not only performed code reviews, but also discussed conceptual ideas. "In addition to the transfer of know-how, the expert from 2BIT placed particular emphasis on the application of proven best practices. He often chose a different path than we would have taken, but after explanatory discussions, these decisions turned out to make a lot of sense," says Philip Tobler, developer at GMOS. He also taught us proven working methods such as SCRUM and integrated them into our development process.

The successful collaboration with 2BIT left a lasting impression on the GMOS team. "To be honest, the collaboration influenced me so much that I even decided to choose the same course of study as the 2BIT expert," adds Tobler.
